Our first real note to subscribers. Look at us, acting like a publication.
A quick update from Culpeper HQ headquarters, which is currently less “newsroom” and more “two people building things behind the scenes while occasionally remembering to eat lunch.”
The weekly publication is still coming together. We’re working on the stories, local guides, events, people, places, and all the other useful little Culpeper things we want to send your way soon. We don’t want to rush it just to say we sent something. We want it to actually be worth opening.
In the meantime, we’re launching something we’re really excited about:
The first Culpeper HQ Dinner Club.

It’s for anyone who’s new to the area, new-ish to the area, or simply ready to meet a few more people who don’t require a 37-message group text just to make dinner plans.
Our first dinner will be Thursday, July 16 at 6:30 PM.
Here’s how it works:
You’ll take a quick personality quiz on our website. Then we’ll match you with a table of six based on things like personality, values, goals, and more.
Your group will meet at a Culpeper restaurant, and we’ll reveal the location the morning of the dinner. Afterward, everyone’s invited to a casual meetup to mingle, connect, and keep the night going.
Come as strangers. Leave with a few new friends.
